The First Tee Central Valley

What is The First Tee?

The First Tee or Central Valley is a non-profit program dedicated to providing children an opportunity to develop, through golf and character education, life-enhancing values such as honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship.

Why enroll your child in The First Tee?

Golf is a lot like life—you have to stay positive and do your very best to achieve your goals. Your child will learn how to swing the club and learn about golf etiquette. They’ll learn how to introduce themselves, how to communicate better, how to deal with frustration, and other important life lessons.

The First Tee participants will work with PGA Professionals and Coaches in a safe supervised environment at the Modesto Municipal Golf Course. All equipment is provided at no charge.
